The licensing body filed an affidavit in Supreme Court regarding Patanjali products to be held for misleading advertisements. The Baba Ram Dev who is popularly known for Yoga and inspired personality to choose and recommend an Ayurveda life, has now been dragged to Supreme Court for facing allegations of false claims regarding traditional Ayurvedic medicines. The manufacturing permits of Baba’s ayurvedic medicine were suspended on April 15. The court issued a contempt notice to Baba for misleading the health cure ads and to put a stop on the promotion and distribution of the said products. Patanjali ayurveda issued an Apology on April 22 for not performing such mistakes further. The case is pending for hearing in SC.
