Recently on 2nd May 2024, Delhi High court passed a Judgement in the PIL plea against the Petitioner. In this case, a PIL was filed by Mr. Manish Goel for his child who studied in Cambridge International School. An amount of ₹. 2,000/- per month was been additionally charged to the students for providing AC facility in classrooms. Petitioner argued that there was no option for the parents to opt such school without AC facilities. The said service facility amount must be borne by the management as the obligation to provide such service rest in the hands of management. Henceforth the management must provide such service from its own funds. The Delhi High court heard both sides and delivered a judgement stating that the parents must mindfully opt a school for their child looking forth all the fees and additional amount prior taking the admission. Management will not bear the amount of extra service facility alone and for such reason parents are entitled to pay such service cost themselves. Further court dismissed the case.
